Fewer, stronger campaigns
In early 2025 a small budget was split across up to eight campaigns at once. Today four sale campaigns and one awareness campaign carry the spend, so Meta can actually learn.
OurKnots sells fabric laces, borders and trims through its Shopify store, which took its first order in November 2024. In February 2025 its Meta Ads spent ₹32.7K to bring back ₹23.4K. My team and I rebuilt the account month by month, and in September 2026 the store did ₹3.84 lakh from 152 orders, with Meta reporting a 5.13x ROAS.
Sales come from Shopify, ad numbers from Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, and the campaigns are still running. Hover the chart to follow the journey month by month.

This did not start as a success story. For most of 2025 the account spent money without a clear engine behind it.
Catalogue, engagement and messenger campaigns brought reach and chats but very few purchases. Sale pushes for Holi, summer and June worked for a month and faded the next. Even when spend rose to ₹60K a month in September 2025, every rupee returned only about ₹1.80.
| Month | Feb 2025 | Sep 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Ad spend | ₹32.7K | ₹70.6K |
| Purchases | 12 | 118 |
| Revenue from Meta | ₹23.4K | ₹3.62L |
| ROAS | 0.72x | 5.13x |
| Cost per purchase | ₹2.7K | ₹598 |
A little over twice the spend, almost ten times the purchases and over fifteen times the revenue.
Add up what Meta and Google each report for September 2026 and you get more than the store actually sold. That is normal: a shopper who clicked a Meta ad and a Google ad before buying is counted by both.
So the account is judged on Shopify: everything the store sold, divided by everything spent on ads. In September 2026 that blended number was 4.82x.
No single trick. A simpler account, better creative and decisions made on real revenue.
In early 2025 a small budget was split across up to eight campaigns at once. Today four sale campaigns and one awareness campaign carry the spend, so Meta can actually learn.
A steady rhythm of new offer angles, formats and hooks, with tired creative retired before it can push the cost per purchase up.
Around ₹3K a month of video awareness reaches over a million people and keeps retargeting audiences full of warm shoppers.
Meta's numbers are checked against Shopify every day, so budget follows money in the bank, not platform reported results alone.
Not a straight line. These are the months that mattered.

Jan 2025. Spend ₹21.6K · 19 purchases · ₹36.7K revenue · part of the campaign list is below the fold, so purchases shown are a floor

Oct 2025. Spend ₹65.5K · 78 purchases · ₹1.11L revenue · part of the campaign list is below the fold, so purchases shown are a floor

Nov 2025. Spend ₹53.7K · 34 purchases · ₹62.2K revenue · part of the campaign list is below the fold, so purchases shown are a floor

Dec 2025. Spend ₹52.9K · 15 purchases · ₹23.9K revenue · part of the campaign list is below the fold, so purchases shown are a floor
The same playbook we would run on a new account. The aim of the first 60 days is not a spike, it is a stable, scalable ROAS floor to push budget into.
Step 01
A full account, pixel, Conversions API and event quality audit. Tracking gaps are fixed first, redundant campaigns are cut, and a daily Shopify versus Meta tracker is set up.
Step 02
A lean prospecting and retargeting structure with three to five tested creative angles, left to exit the learning phase cleanly.
Step 03
Double down on winning creative and audiences, retire tired ads before costs drift up, and add bundles or threshold offers to raise revenue per order.
Step 04
Budget rises in controlled steps on proven campaigns, watching frequency and marginal ROAS, with an always on creative pipeline behind it.
The record month, campaign by campaign.
₹89.1K of purchases from ₹8,965 of spend, the controllable sale campaign that came out of consolidating the old sprawl.
The core sale campaign drove 44 purchases worth ₹1.32 lakh from ₹24K of spend.
The video awareness campaign reached 1.08 million people for about ₹3K, keeping retargeting full and prospecting cheap.
100% of advertising spend is billed directly to your own Meta Ads account. Campaigns run inside your Meta Business Manager, Meta charges your payment method directly, and media spend is never routed, marked up or resold. Our fee is separate from media.
OurKnots also runs Google Ads alongside Meta. The services behind these results:
Meta reported a 5.13x ROAS in September 2026, up from 0.72x in February 2025.
₹3.84 lakh of store sales from 152 orders in September 2026, its record month. The store has crossed ₹1 lakh of sales every month since January 2026.
Meta and Google both take credit for some of the same orders, so their numbers overlap. The account is judged on Shopify: everything the store sold divided by everything spent on ads, which was 4.82x in September 2026.
Yes. Every month is backed by a Meta Ads Manager screenshot on this page, with campaign names and the ad account blurred.
